can i just take a moment to acknowledge how smart and sexy it is how i made this website with literally no coding expirience. it doesn't look great rn but it kinda works! my iq is enormous and i love doing things that cause me suffering.
this journal will be weird for me, i've never really posted about my life on social media, so i'm not sure how i will balance my attempts at blogging with my generall distaste towards sharing things about myself. i'd like to only be known as 'that chick with the monkey website', at the same time it might be good to share my thoughts with the world for the first time ever, although still in a fairly anonymous way.
messed up my assignment a bit. but on the bright side i can work on the site a bit more.
i'm not planning anything crazy, just some improvements, like:
i have a lot of movies i'd like to share my thoughts on, but it'll be more like recs than reviews. i don't care to review stuff i don't like. literally what's the point???
was kind of attracted to a guy in a movie i watched. he was literally blond. this is a new low for me.
i started coding this website to procrastinate my college asssignement. it's due in 1 week. i'm currently sitting on my bed in a state between lethargy and anxiety, ignoring it.
creating a neocities website was something i always wanted to do, and now that i got this near manic burst of motivation, i did. the community here isn't something i actively participate in but i've known some users who built amazing things snd they inspired me to try it as well. the point isn't to impress anyone with my web design, i literally suck at coding in case you guys haven't noticed. i'm more artistically inclined. my art is awesome. i just want to have a space that's easy for me (and you) to navigate so i can dump all my graphics here. i hope whoever finds it enjoys the things i share!
this page is the one that made me want to shoot myself in the head the most, it refused to work until i broke out javascript. like, i don't even know what javascript is. it works now though. it worked before but not exactly how i wanted. i wish i was the type to leave things be when they're good enough, but instead i must suffer.
